Day 1: Paro to Thimphu
Flight into the Himalayas reveals scenic and breathtaking views of the Himalayan Mountains.
As soon as your flight enters Paro valley, which is surrounded by 4000 meter high mountains stretching across the west of Bhutan, it will enable you to have a visible landing which is indispensable and will make your day an unforgettable one.
Your Bhutanese representative from Fly to Bhutan will welcome you on arrival and drive Thimphu (2350m); it takes about 1.5 hours through Paa chu and Wang Chu river, it mainly has scrub as vegetation. The countryside from Chuzom to Thimphu is less forested than what you have seen so far, and the valley is narrow except for two sections where it widens into gentle slopes, a terraced rice field and a lovely strand of conifer trees.

Day 2: Thimphu to Punakha
- Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Thimphu and Punakha.
- Visit the majestic Tashichho Dzong and the newly consecrated Tara Lhaden Zhingkham Lhakhang Temple.
- Continue to the awesome Changangkha Lhakhang, which also offers excellent, sensational valley views.
- Visit Buddha Point, where a gigantic Shakyamuni Buddha statue has been constructed. Located at a short drive from Thimphu city centre, visitors get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from the Buddha point (Kuensel Phodrang). It is called Buddha Point because the largest statue of Buddha in the country sits there.
- Chorten Memorialis one of the most visible landmarks of Thimphu, built in 1974 to honour the memory of third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. It is a four-storey chorten decorated with richly carved annexes facing the cardinal directions and features elaborate mandalas, statues and a shrine dedicated to the popular king.
- Towards evening, drive back to Paro. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for an overnight halt.

Day 3: Paro Sightseeing
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Paro.
It starts with an excursion to view the spectacular Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery. Located on a cliff, this is one of the must-visit attractions in Bhutan. Enjoy the trek and gorgeous views of Paro Valley on the way up to the monastery.
Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of oldest and most beautiful temples. The temple is popularly believed to have been built by King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet to pin down the left foot of a giant ogress that was thwarting the establishment of Buddhism into Tibet.
In the evening, take a leisure walk in the town and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel, and then check out.
Now, you will be driven to Paro International Airport for your onward journey to your next destination.
