The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Rim

Leave early in the morning from Arusha and travel to Serengeti National Park.
Drive around the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing time for sightseeing. The golden savannah and endless plains teeming with zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes make it easy to understand why Serengeti National Park is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai Kopje, a small rocky hill in a generally flat area, and spot Serengeti's famous pink-headed lizards.
After lunch, proceed further into the plains for a leisurely game drive.
Spend the night at Serengeti Nyani Campsite and fall asleep to the playful calls of zebras and hyenas.

Day 02

Wildlife Viewing in the Heart of Serengeti

Begin the day in the heart of the Serengeti. The animals found here are extremely diverse, and you can enjoy sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, water buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests. In addition, many other animals are also found throughout the park.
After the game drive, enjoy a delectable dinner at your campsite.

Day 03

Final Serengeti Game Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

Set out for your final game drive in the Serengeti with your Tanzanian safari guide.
After an exciting game drive full of animal sightings and a picnic lunch, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater.
After a long day of adventuring, enjoy a tasty dinner prepared by your friendly cook.
Stay overnight at Simba Camp, overlooking the unbroken caldera of Ngorongoro Crater. The views of the sunset over the savannah are absolutely breathtaking.

Day 04

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha

After an early morning breakfast, head to Ngorongoro Crater to spot wild animals.
Enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds. Due to the animal "oasis" created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of the 'Big 5'. In addition, there are flocks of graceful flamingos along the Soda Lake, while hungry hawks and vultures circle the sky in search of their next meal. Beautiful storks, ibis, and cranes are popular waterbirds in the crater.
After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings, start your journey back to Arusha.
