Day by day
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport at any time of the day, you will be received by a guide who will transfer you to your hotel for the night.
Start your day at 7:00 AM with a drive to Kibale Forest National Park through Fort Portal. Farmlands on the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains and scenic views of the Mountains of the Moon await you.
Have an early lunch in Fort Portal and proceed for a walk in the Bigodi Swamp.
Continue to the Top of the World craters and Lake Nkuruba for views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the lakes.
Begin your day early and walk into the forest, which is rated as having one of the greatest concentrations of primate life and birds. A high concentration of monkeys, forest elephants, forest hogs, and birds crowns this area's rich ecological diversity.
After the tracking, proceed for lunch in Kasese town.
Go for an evening game drive at Ishasha on your way to Bwindi in search of the tree-climbing lions.
Later, drive to Bwindi through rich tea plantations. Bwindi is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, home to countless primates and exotic birds.
Start your day by preparing for the trek, which begins at 8 AM. Receive a briefing from UWA officials before setting out. Visitors are advised to carry a rain jacket, drinking water, simple snacks, jungle boots, and other essentials.
The ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates.
Always take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla. This will be one of the most exciting wildlife experiences you will ever face. Gorilla tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours, but it is well worth the effort.
After your warm African tea or coffee, return to Kampala.
Then continue to Entebbe. The route will take you through the farmlands of the Ankole longhorn cattle, the scenery of the Kabale ranches, and the Ngurinko hills, with lunch en route and a stopover at the Equator for photographs and souvenirs.
