Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
- Pick up from the hotel in Arusha and travel to Lake Manyara National Park, set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall.
Enjoy a late afternoon game drive and look for buffalos, giraffes, zebras and other animals.
Dinner and overnight at Kudu Lodge and campsite.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Check out from Lake Manyara Serena Lodge and proceed by road via Ngorongoro rain forest to Serengeti National Park, the largest National Park in Tanzania and one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world.
Arrive at the park and explore the park's rugged landscape with low vegetation, ideal for game viewing.
Look for wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and other wild animals.
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena lodge or Mbalageti Tented Lodge.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains
Enjoy a game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River.
Look for lions, gazelles, topis, ostriches and cheetahs.
Explore the Visitor Centre to see interesting wildlife displays.
Discover a gift shop selling informational leaflets and maps of this area.
Enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the centre of the park in the shade of the giant acacia trees.
Follow the Kopjes Circuit that goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract lions and some large cobras.
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena lodge or Mbalageti Tented Lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Drive via the Rift Valley to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Explore the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera, almost 20km wide, approximately 600 m deep.
Discover the large variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. The various springs found on the caldera floor attract animals such as wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks and more than 500 bird species.
Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, one of the main features of the crater where a large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds usually reside.
Overnight stay at a campsite on the crater’s edge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area– Arusha
Rise early in the morning and hike to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to see elephants and other wild animals.
Check out the lodge and depart for Arusha.
