The itinerary

Day 01

The Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara

Take the chance to discover the secrets of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Khafre, Menkaure, and the Holy Sphinx.
Go deep into history through papyrus, its amazing inscriptions, and pictures. Lunch will be grilled chicken at a restaurant close to the pyramids area.
Visit Saqqara to discover the most ancient stone building in the history of humanity: the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, his mortuary temple, the Pyramid of Unas with its pyramid texts on the walls, and the first capital of Egypt, Memphis.
Return to the hotel. At night, enjoy the light and sound show beside the pyramid or go horse riding on the Giza Plateau close to the pyramid.

Day 02

The Egyptian Museum, Nile, Coptic, and Islamic Cairo

The gate of history will open to you through the Egyptian Museum. Learn about the greatness of the pharaohs since 3200 BC.
Lunch will be typical Egyptian food: koshari.
Discover the Citadel of Cairo with its great walls, the alabaster mosque, and more.
Go back to school and experience how pupils studied during early Islamic times in Sultan Hassan Madrasa.
Later, take a trip over the Nile River on board a felucca.

Day 03

Coptic and Islamic Cairo with Khan El Khalili

Start the day at 11 am and eat one of the most popular Egyptian foods, falafel.
Visit downtown Tahrir and Ramses stations in old Cairo with their two wings, Islamic and Christian.
See the Masjid of Amr Ibn Alas, the first mosque in Africa, only 100 meters from the well-known Hanging Church and the synagogue.
Wander through the mysterious part of the city with its old gates and streets, drinking cane juice and other popular Egyptian drinks.
Take a break in a popular cafeteria to drink shisha, tea, coffee, anise, or whatever you want.
Go to Khan El Khalili amid an authentic Egyptian atmosphere of cafeterias, old streets, markets, handmade souvenirs, and spices.
