Day 01

Visit Szentendre, an artists' town with several small houses and narrow streets. It is a shopping paradise for handicraft fans.
Drive along the Danube and, in a short time, reach Visegrád Castle. Visegrád was the Hungarian royal seat for 200 years. Atop the hill, the ruins of the kings' fort and castle offer a fantastic view.
Enjoy lunch at the enchanted and panoramic Hunter's Lodge on top of Visegrád Hill (optional).
Continue to Esztergom, which was Hungary's first capital. With the biggest and most remarkable Basilica in Hungary, it is the seat of the Hungarian cardinal.
