Itinerary

1. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

   • Your tour representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival and assist in transferring you to the hotel for the overnight stay.

2. Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley

   • Visit the Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath temples.

   • After lunch, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.

   • In Kathmandu durbar square, go to Kumari temple, the temple of the Living Goddess.

3. Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (Around 7/8 hours)

   • After breakfast in Kathmandu, drive to Pokhara. 

   • Take some time to explore Pokhara city and Lakeside.

   Overnight at a guesthouse in Pokhara.

4. Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m) – 3 Hours

   • Complete a short drive to Nayapul from Pokhara, which takes about an hour.

   • From Nayapul, take a short walk along the banks of Modi Khola, which brings you to Birethanti (1015m).

   • The trail continues through the village and climbs to the Hill (1495m).

   • Reach Tikhedhunga (1577m), where an overnight stay at a guesthouse will be arranged.

5. Day 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2840m) – 5 Hours

   • Return to Bamboo following the same trail back.

   • The trail drops by 1700m to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo at 2345m. Teahouses/lodges are available to stay at Bamboo.

   Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

6. Day 06: Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani (2610m) – 4 Hours

   • Early in the morning, start an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m).

   • After spending about an hour at Poon Hill, return back to Ghorepani.

   • Have breakfast at Ghorepani and after that, continue climbing along the ridges through the forest of pines and rhododendron.

   • The climb leads to Deurali (2960m) and, descending further, takes us to Tadapani eventually.

   Overnight at a guesthouse in Tadapani (2610m).

7. Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2140m) – 5 Hours

   • Start the steep downhill walk through the forests of rhododendrons.

   • Leave Tadapani and descend through the forests to reach the Gurjung village as the trail eases.

   • After Gurjung, walk to Chhomrong at an elevation of 2140m.

   Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

8. Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2500m) – 5½ Hours

   • The trail drops down to the Chhomrong Khola and again continues climbing to Khuldighar.

   • Walk a little further, clearing the forest, and then follow the steep trail towards the bottom of the gorge, Dovan.

   Stay overnight at a guesthouse.

9. Day 09: Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3230m) – 4 Hours

   • It’s a relatively short trek. Begins early in the morning with the climb through bamboo forests first, and then through the forest of rhododendron on to Hinku Cave.

   Stay overnight at a guesthouse in Deurali.

10. Day 10: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4131m) – 5 Hours

    • Start from Deurali and pass through the Machhapuchhre Base Camp.

    • Trek for two hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp at an elevation of 4131m.

    Stay overnight at a guesthouse.

11. Day 11: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) to Bamboo (2345m) – 6 Hours

    • Return to Bamboo following the same trail back. The trail drops by 1700m to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo at 2345m.

    • Teahouses/lodges are available to stay at Bamboo.

    Stay overnight at a guesthouse.

12. Day 12: Final Departure

    • Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
