Day 01

Skopje Fortress, Skupi and St. Panteleimon

• Meet in front of the Stone Bridge Hotel at 9:30.

• Visit the Fortress Kale and explore its Neolithic settlement.

• Travel to the archaeological site of Skupi by suitable transportation, depending on the number of participants.

• Continue from the Roman city of Skupi to the monastery of St. Panteleimon, one of the most prominent medieval healing sites in the village of Nerezi, known for its by-the-books first Renaissance paintings.

• Visit the Bogomil's pond above the monastery. This part is negotiable.

• Have lunch at a Macedonian ethno-village.

• Transfer back to Skopje, where the tour concludes.
