The itinerary

Day 01

Chhukung Pickup and Trek to Island Peak Base Camp

Meet your climbing guide at Chhukung, who will take you to Island Peak Base Camp (5,200 meters/17,060 ft). The 4-hour walk from Chhukung to the camp allows you to get acclimatized to the thin atmosphere.
Upon arrival at the camp, have lunch.
After lunch, you will undergo pre-climb training organized by the climbing guide, so pay attention to every detail and piece of information conveyed to you.

Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 02

Base Camp Acclimatization and Preparation Trek

If you feel you are ready, you may choose to begin climbing up to Island Peak. Otherwise, you will spend a day at the camp to get acclimatized. You will also be taken on a short trek around base camp to prepare you for the 6,000-meter adventure the next morning.

Overnight stay at the tented camp.

Day 03

Island Peak Summit and Return to Chhukung

Start early in the morning as you begin climbing up to Island Peak. After Camp 1, you will cross a ridge amidst a glacier riddled with crevasses.
After a safe trip to the top of Island Peak, descend to Chhukung. End of the trekking tour.
