  • Entrance tickets to Izborsk fortress. The cost is 100 rubles (less than 2 dollars) for adults, 50 rubles (about 1 dollar) for students and retired people, and 30 rubles (half a dollar) for children.

  • If you want to visit the underground caves of the Pechory Assumption Monastery, you will need to send a prior request. The guide will help you do this. Usually, people leave a donation when visiting the caves. It is up to you to decide how much you wish to donate.

  • Options: Not far from Izborsk are several other places of interest to visit, such as the Seto People's Homestead Museum, which tells about the culture and way of life of the small Seto people; a honey apiary where you can learn about the life of bees and be treated to tea and honey; and a Russian retro car exhibition. All of these involve extra expenses.
