6-Day Kenya Wildlife Safari to Masai Mara Amboseli and Lake Nakuru

• Get picked up from your hotel in the morning and drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can stop to take pictures of the beautiful landscape.

• After that, there will be another stop for lunch before continuing the drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

• Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be shown to your accommodation to settle in and relax with snacks and coffee. This will be followed by your first afternoon game drive - your first taste of African wildlife.

• Spend the whole day game viewing and exploring the park's high concentration of wild animals.

• On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals, including the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

  • Optional: In the afternoon, a visit to a Maasai village can be arranged. Here, you will be welcomed by the locals singing and dancing, a sacred ritual that forms part of their rich tradition. Part of the visit includes a glimpse of their local homes and way of life.

• Start the day with an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. After that, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is home to a stunning flock of lesser and greater flamingos, turning the lakeshores into a magnificent pink stretch.

• Spot more than 400 birds, such as white pelicans, plovers, egrets, and marabou storks. It is also one of the very few places in Africa where you can see the white and black rhino, as well as the rare Rothschild's giraffe.

• After breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Lake Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingos and other water birds.

• Leave Lake Nakuru National Park and proceed to Amboseli National Park, with lunch en route, for dinner and an overnight stay at a camp/lodge in Amboseli.

• After breakfast, proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive.

• Return to the campsite for breakfast.

• After breakfast, continue with another game drive, where plains game including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and various antelopes can be seen.

• Have lunch and a leisure break at the camp or lodge, then end the day with an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro, which may be seen in clear weather from the observation hill.

• Large herds of elephant and hippo can be seen bathing in the swamp grounds whose water source is Mt. Kilimanjaro.

All meals and overnight at the camp/lodge.

• Have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive.

• After a late breakfast, depart Amboseli for Nairobi with lunch en route, arriving in the evening.

• Drop off at your hotel or at the airport.
