7-Day Safari and Zanzibar Tour with Mikumi, Selous and Stone Town

After resting from the previous day's flight into Tanzania, drive towards Mikumi National Park, which is very close to Dar es Salaam at a distance of 375 km.

Drive for up to 4 hours to arrive at the park in time for lunch.

After checking in at the hotel, proceed for a half-day game drive in the national park, which links to the southern game circuit and the great Selous Game Park. The game drive is only allowed from 06:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Go for an early morning game drive for a last chance to spot the Big Five as they retreat into secluded places before sunrise.

Get a chance to spot lions and leopards on a kill or finishing up their meal.

Head back to the hotel for lunch and relaxation.

Early in the morning, drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the early evening, which will be a good time for crossing to Zanzibar.

However, if there is no need to cross, go to Kigamboni beaches for an overnight stay.

09:30 am: Board a boat to Zanzibar for a 3-hour cruise.

Arrive around midday in Zanzibar and check in at the hotel in Stone Town.

After lunch, go for a city tour through the narrow and enterprising streets.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel, enjoying the cool Zanzibar winds outside.

Go on a spice tour, followed by a journey to Jozani Forest to see Columbus monkeys.

Later, head to the beach for relaxation.

Head to the north side of the island to explore the slave chambers and visit places in the Nungwi area, including Mwangapwani Cave.

Visit cultural places and see how local people live on this touristic island.

Later, head to the beaches to relax.

Head back to Dar es Salaam once again for the last leg of the tour, depending on the time of flight departure.

Guests can choose to fly back to Dar es Salaam or use the boat once again.
