Mandalay Jetty to Myitkyina Village by Chartered Boat
Transfer to the jetty, the busiest trading port, at about 8:00 a.m. and see loading, unloading, and the settlers' way of life.
Depart from the jetty by chartered boat to Myitkyina, a charming village and community-based tourism site.
While on board, see bamboo rafting, fishing, local pilgrims' boats, and green cultivated farms on the alluvial lands.
Explore the village and observe the lives of the locals, especially local businesses such as obtaining oil with an oil press, carving dolphin idols, and other village products, along with the rural surroundings.
Lunch will be served at a local house with traditional food.
Then, take a small local boat to watch the cooperative fishing between fishermen and dolphins. Observe the ways of approaching the dolphins, throwing fish nets, sharing fish, and the practices of befriending them. This experience lasts approximately 1 hour.
The boat will anchor off the village jetty for an overnight rest.
