Let the berry picking begin!
Once we arrive at the national park, we will look at the national park maps and go through the day's activities. Then we begin our walk through the
forest to some of our favorite berry picking spots.
Our guide will explain which berries are edible as well as provide information about the forest and wildlife around you. Surrounded by wild berries, you are able to pick and eat them all day.
After picking berries for around two hours, we end up at the lakeside lunch spot. While your guide starts the fire and cooks a traditional
Finnish style lunch, there will be plenty of time to take photos, snack on the berries, socialize, and experience the tranquility of the Taiga forest.
After lunch we will continue to explore the natural beauty of Liesjärvi while making our way back to the starting point. The day will be
complete with your stomach full of berries and you will be fully charged from this wonderful nature experience.
You will spend in the national park around 4.5 hours and together with transfer times this tour takes 7 hours.
