Day by day
Arrive at Katunayake Airport and meet the tour crew.
On the way, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, an incredible ancient complex of caves dating back to the 1st century BC. The five caves contain over 150 images of Buddha, including an impressive 14-meter carved statue.
Arrive at Sigiriya for an overnight stay.
Leave for Kandy and, en route, visit Sigiriya 'Lion Rock' fortress. Built over 1,500 years ago, it is one of the most iconic and famous sites in Sri Lanka.
View the world-famous paintings of the Heavenly Maidens, situated in a sheltered pocket of the rock and approached by a spiral stairway.
Visit Matale Alu Vihara and Nalanda Stone Temple.
Overnight stay in Kandy.
In the morning, go on a sightseeing tour of Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings.
Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred place for followers of Buddhism.
Later, go on a city walk, enjoy cultural shows, and visit the local market.
Overnight stay in Kandy.
Depart from Kandy and proceed towards Nuwara Eliya.
On the way, visit the tea estate and factory, as well as Ramboda waterfall.
Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
After the city tour in the morning, take a scenic train trip to Ella.
Overnight stay in Ella.
In the morning, visit Little Adam's Peak in Ella and proceed to Yala.
Overnight stay in Yala.
At 05:00 am, go on an early morning safari in Yala National Park.
Later, proceed to Mirissa beach.
Enjoy evening activities at Mirissa beach.
Overnight stay in Mirissa.
In the morning, proceed to the airport via Galle.
Arrive at the airport to catch your flight back home or continue your onward journey.
