Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Pick-up from Dar es Salaam Airport at 8:30 am.
Travel 283 km to Mikumi National Park.
Check-in at the main gate, then proceed for a 2-hour game drive inside the park.
Arrive at the hotel for a hot lunch.
After lunch, relax at the hotel until 4 pm.
Go for an evening game drive in the park. Mikumi is home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, eland, hartebeest, crocodiles, lizards and other birds, animals and reptiles.
Observe over 300 species of birds in this park.
Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at camp or lodge.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam
Go for an early morning game viewing in the park.
Mikumi's vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland, with two watering holes- Mkata and Chamgore.
Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop and malachite kingfisher, one can also find monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting the pools.
Return to the camp/lodge for a full breakfast.
Drive to Dar es Salaam.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch.
