Trek from the base of the ski centre, pass the fumaroles of "La Olla del Mote," and descend into the hot spring river valley beneath the Chillán Volcanoes. Relax with a bath in the hot springs before enjoying a box lunch and returning to Las Trancas.

The itinerary

Day 01

Aguas Calientes Trek and Hot Springs Experience

Arrive at the ski centre from Las Trancas.
Start the trek from the base of the ski centre.
After an hour of ascent, come upon the fumaroles of "La Olla del Mote" and view the active Andes mountain range.
During the trek, enjoy the impressive panoramic views of the valleys of the Renegado River and the Diguillín River.
See Antuco Volcano and Sierra Velluda to the south under the surveillance of the Chillán Volcanoes.
Later, descend towards the hot spring river valley, a habitat for condors and pumas, where the hot spring rivers sprout from the ground.
Enjoy a relaxing bath followed by a box lunch.
After lunch, return to the base.
Depart for Las Trancas.
