The itinerary

Day 01

Paris to Djanet and First Camp at Tinamali

  • Depart from Paris for Djanet.

  • Meet the tour crew on arrival in Djanet, then head to your first bivouac on the road towards the Tadrart, just 15 minutes from the airport. Explore the Tadrart before returning to camp in Tinamali in the evening.

Day 02

Tinamali to El Berdj Trek

  • Depart from Tinamali early in the morning and set out on a one-hour trek to El Berdj.

  • Arrive in El Berdj and explore its sandy expanse.

Day 03

Through the Gorges of El Berdj to Moul Naga

  • Set out on a 4 to 6-hour trek through the gorges of El Berdj.

  • Explore an impressive dune in El Berdj.

  • Continue towards Moul Naga, where a bivouac will be set up for your overnight stay.

Day 04

Pink Dunes, Rock Carvings and Bouhadan

  • After breakfast, trek for 4 to 6 hours among the pink dunes and rock carvings of Moul Naga.

  • See the beautiful engravings of Wan Iska.

  • Set out for the Guelta of Bouhadan and arrive later in the evening.

Overnight stay at camp in Bouhadan.

Day 05

Bouhadan to Tin Merzouga's Red Dunes

  • Rise early in the morning and set out on a 6-hour trek towards a historical site famous for its beautiful Neolithic-era paintings in the Bovidian style.

  • Discover the Tin Merzouga Erg and its red dunes, some of which rise as high as 600 metres.

  • Head to the camp in Tin Merzouga for an overnight stay.

Day 06

Tin Merzouga to the Arches of Tamezguida

  • Enjoy an early breakfast and set out on a 4 to 6-hour trek.

  • Hike around the Tin Merzouga dunes and explore landscapes of infinite variety.

  • Continue on foot to reach the impressive arches of Tamezguida before heading to the camp in Tamezguida for an overnight stay.

Day 07

Tamezguida to Adjlati via Djaren

  • After breakfast, head out for a 2-hour trek, then follow a wadi in Djaren towards the site of its famous cave paintings.

  • Continue to Adjlati, arriving by evening before retreating for an overnight stay.

Day 08

Tegharghart and Return to Djanet

  • Depart for Djanet early in the morning. On the way, visit Tegharghart, home to the "Crying Cow" rock engravings from the Early Hunter Period.

  • Return to Djanet in the afternoon, enjoy a shower, and relax for some time.

  • Head out to explore the city, where you will stay overnight.

Day 09

Departure from Djanet

  • Transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to Paris.
