Itinerary

1. Day 1: Phong Nha To khe sanh via west ho chi minh trail

   • 08:00 am: Pick-up from hotel to begin the tour from Phong Nha village and ride to Khe Sanh along one of the most scenic and important stretches of the West Ho Chi Minh Trail.

   • From the bank of the Son river up to the top of Phong Nha Ke Bang National park, ride 100 km through jungle growth and mountain passes.

   • Discover the remote back roads of the national park and the West Ho Chi Minh Trail, which very few tourists have explored.

   • Stopping at the Van Kieu ethnic hill village, see and understand how local tribes live in one of vietnam’s most remote areas.

   • Follow the Ho Chi Minh trail through to Khe Sanh, passing historic war relics on the way.

   • 05:00 pm: Arrive and check-in at hotel, and celebrate completion of the first day of tour with a cold beer.

2. Day 2: khe sanh to hue via dmz & vinh moc tunnel

   • Ride towards Hue from West to East along Highway 9. 

   • Pass famous Vietnamese war sites like Dakrong bridge, Rock Pile, and the Doc Mieu base.

   • Visit the Truong Son national cemetery (the biggest cemetery in Vietnam) to pay respects to the soldier who sacrificed their life in the war. After crossing the former border between North and South Vietnam at the 17th parallel, arrive at the Vinh Moc tunnel where villagers dug tunnels to move their village 23 meters underground to survive during the war.

   • Stop for lunch at Cua Viet beach and cool off with a swim, before driving along the coastline to arrive in Hue around 4:30 pm.

3. Day 3: Hue to hoi via hai van pass

   • 08:00 am: Pick you up from requested place, followed by a ride on Highway 1 to visit the Sampan village, where people live on boat and earn their livelihood from fishing on the biggest lagoon in Southeast Asia.

   • Enjoy a swim in the natural and cool Elephant waterfalls.

   • Ride over the top of the Hai Van mountain, following the scenic route with a spectacular ride and eventually going off the road through the mountain to see the Sea ‘N’ Cloud.

   • Stop to take pictures at My Khe beach, which was nicknamed China beach in English by American and Australian soldiers during the Vietnam war.

   • See caves and temples on Marble mountain as well as many unique sculpture.

   • Ride along the coastal line to Hoi An.

   • Drop off at hotel, End of tour.
