Bagan Temples, Pagodas and Sunset Tour

  • Pick-up from the hotel by your guide and driver.

  • Start the tour with a stroll through the colourful local market of Bagan, then continue the day with visits to some of the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan.

  • Begin at Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta during the early 11th century as a religious shrine.

  • Proceed to Ku Byauk Gyi, a temple with superb murals depicting Jataka scenes.

  • Visit Bu Lei Thee Pagoda, noted for its panoramic views of the numerous monuments in the area.

  • Bow your head at Ananda Temple, home to four magnificent standing Buddha images.

  • After lunch at a local restaurant, continue with a visit to one of Myanmar's most treasured handicrafts - a lacquerware craftsmen workshop in nearby Myinkaba village.

  • Visit Manuha Temple, built in Mon style in 1059, and Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha.

  • Witness a mesmerizing sunset view from a temple.

  • Transfer back to the hotel.
