Day 01

Arrival in Yerevan

  • Meet at Zvartnots International Airport.

  • Transfer to your hotel or rented house in Yerevan.

  • Get an introduction to the tour during a walk in Yerevan with your travel guide.

Day 02

Garni Canyon, Geghard Monastery and Vernissage

  • Hike in Garni Canyon and witness the mighty natural cliffs here.

  • Visit Geghard Monastery, the only cave-carved monastery in Armenia.

  • See the Vernissage open art and craft market in Yerevan. This is the only place where you can find all kinds of souvenirs and various handmade works of art and crafts.

Day 03

Echmiadzin, Zvartnots and Yerevan

  • Tour Echmiadzin Treasury and Hripsime Church, a 7th-century church included in the UNESCO World Heritage list for its unique architecture.

  • Visit Gayane Church and the nearby Mother Cathedral.

  • See Zvartnots Temple, the half-ruined remains of a huge 7th-century temple and cathedral included in the UNESCO list.

  • Explore the Genocide Complex and Museum in Yerevan.

Day 04

Khor Virap, Areni, Noravank, Tatev and Jermuk

  • Visit Khor Virap, a 13th-century monastery.

  • See Areni Winery, a very interesting and hospitable place where you will taste various local wines, cheese, the national bread, and local dry fruits. Get acquainted with the wine production of Armenia and enjoy a short tour of the winery. This is free of charge for all our company travellers.

  • Go to Noravank Monastery. Hiking in this area is breathtaking, with amazing views of the canyon.

  • Next, see Tatev Monastery. You will get to the monastery by the longest ropeway in the world.

  • Walk across Devil Bridge, a natural wonder and a cave bridge on hot water pools.

  • See Jermuk city, the hot mineral water resort of Armenia.

Day 05

Jermuk, Selim Caravanserai and Lake Sevan

  • Explore Jermuk's alleys and hike through a huge canyon to Jermuk Waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in Armenia.

  • See Selim Caravanserai, the only caravanserai in Armenia.

  • Tour Lake Sevan, the biggest lake in Armenia.

Overnight in Sevan.

Day 06

Sevan Peninsula and Dilijan

  • See the Sevan Peninsula, a 9th-century church complex on a peninsula situated at an altitude. Enjoy stunning views of Lake Sevan.

  • Proceed towards Dilijan city for the night.

Day 07

Lori Fortress and Dendropark

  • Visit Lori Fortress, the oldest fortress of Armenia from the 3rd millennium before Christ, which is well maintained even today.

  • See Dendropark, the only arboretum of Armenia, which covers 35 hectares in total - 17.5 hectares consist of natural forest and 15 hectares of ornamental trees.

Overnight stay in Stepanavan city.

Day 08

Lori Monasteries and Tbilisi

  • See the Lori region and its three huge architectural complexes from the 9th-11th centuries - Haghpat, Sanahin, and Odzun - two of which are included in the UNESCO heritage list.

  • Go to the greenest region of Armenia, full of forests, canyons, and mountains, and continue to Tbilisi.

Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

  • Khor Virap Monastery is the place where Grigor the Illuminator stayed for 13 years without eating or drinking before the diaspora of Christianity in Armenia. See beautiful views of Mt. Ararat and the Armenia-Turkey border from here.

  • Noravank Monastery is a marvelous 12th-century church complex surrounded by marvelous rocks and cliffs that change their colors depending on the sunrays.

  • Lori Fortress is the oldest fortress of Armenia from the 3rd millennium before Christ, which is well maintained even today.

  • Dendropark is the only arboretum of Armenia, covering 35 hectares in total - 17.5 hectares consist of natural forest and 15 hectares of ornamental trees.
