Day 01

Shore Excursion to Saigon's Old and New Quarters

At around 7:30-8:00 AM, I will welcome you with a sign bearing your name at the cruise port gate, which is 2 to 5 minutes by shuttle bus from the ship to the gate. From there, depart for Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in a private mini-van, with a journey of around 1.5 hours.

Then, we will explore many unique places in Saigon. Visit Ho Chi Minh's Ecovillage, located along the riverside. It is a peaceful tourist village full of green spaces, flowers, and swaying trees, and it is a famous weekend getaway for local people who come here to picnic and fish.

Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee here, a great way to kick-start this unique city exploration experience.

Stop by the Jade Emperor Temple and admire its architecture.

Explore the wet market.

Eat lunch featuring local cuisine.

Head to the city centre and discover the symbol of Saigon.

See the Reunification Palace, City Hall, Opera House, Central Post Office, Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, and the CIA building.

After the tour, drop off at the cruise port.

There are three different ports in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon where you may dock:
- Nha Rong Port (Saigon/HCMC) - It is near the city center.
- Hiep Phuoc Port - It is about 30 minutes from the city center.
- Phu My Port - It is 1.15 hours from Saigon/HCMC city center and 2.5 hours from the Mekong Delta and Cuchi tunnels.
