4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari with Big Five Game Drives

• Get picked up from your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport upon landing early in the morning and receive a briefing on the day's activities before departing for Kenya's top wildlife game reserve via the Great Rift Valley.

• Stop over for sightseeing and photography.

• Proceed to Mara via Narok town and arrive at the lodge in time for a hearty lunch.

• Later in the evening, embark on a game drive, as this is considered the best time to view animals roaming around the reserve.

• Keep your cameras ready for memorable shots as you search for the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo), cheetah, hyena, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, and topi, among others.

• Return to camp.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Concord Game Lodge/AA Mara Lodge or similar (full-board accommodation - L/D).

• Have breakfast, then set out with your packed lunches for a full day of wildlife game viewing. This gives you a greater chance of spotting the diverse wildlife that Mara is well known for.

• Visit the banks of the Mara River, the crossing point during the yearly wildebeest and zebra migration. With over a million animals making their annual migration from July to October, it is declared the 7th wonder of the world.

• Later, an optional visit to a Masai cultural homestead at an extra cost can help you learn more about their ancient culture and traditions. You can also join them in their colourful songs and dance.

• Return to the lodge.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Concord Game Lodge/AA Mara Lodge or similar (B/L/D).

• Have breakfast, check out, and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.

• Arrive at the lodge/hotel in time for lunch.

• Set off yet again for another evening game drive in search of the rare and endangered rhino, as well as leopard, cheetah, lion, buffalo, waterbucks, baboons, and zebras.

Return for dinner and overnight stay at Chester Hotel or similar (full-board accommodation - L/D).

• Have breakfast, check out, and go for a morning game drive as you search for a variety of plains game and bird species.

• Exit the park and drive back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport.
