Day 01
Bukit Melawati, Seafood Dinner and Fireflies Cruise
Drive to Kuala Selangor for approximately 1.5 hours.
On arrival, visit Bukit Melawati, where Fort Altingsburg is located. The hilltop is crowned by a lighthouse and tall, beautiful shady trees that serve as a haven for local birds, silvered leaf monkeys, and long-tail macaques.
At dusk, drive across the bridge over the Selangor River for a seafood dinner at a fishing village.
After dinner, go on a 15-minute drive to a Malay village to board a typical Malay 5-seater wooden rowboat (sampan). Life jackets are provided, and the boatmen will row along the river.
Observe as millions of fireflies present a dazzling display of lights, flickering in synchrony and resembling twinkling electric lights on a Christmas tree.
