  • Tugu Negara, the National Monument and war memorial that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency.

  • Masjid Jamek, the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur.

  • Malaysian Houses of Parliament, a building complex where the Malaysian Parliament assembles.

  • Lake Garden, which houses the Malaysian Houses of Parliament and is situated close to the Malaysian National Monument.

  • Old Railway Station.

  • Independence Square and KLCC Park.

  • Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a late nineteenth-century building located in front of Dataran Merdeka and the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur.
