Day by day
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.
Enjoy a welcome drink followed by a tour briefing.
Explore the nightlife in the tourist hub of "Thamel" on your own.
Overnight: Hotel at Kathmandu
Drive to Swayambhunath, the "Monkey Temple" of Kathmandu, a Buddhist pilgrimage site with a large stupa.
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square with its pagodas, and the home of the Living Goddess Kumari.
Continue to Pashupatinath, an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. Many believers from India come here every week. There are many temples here, and on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, believers also perform funeral rites for their deceased family members.
Marvel at the great stupa of Boudhanath, which is also known as Little Tibet in Nepal.
Overnight: Hotel at Kathmandu
Drive to Bhaktapur. This ancient city lies 15 km east of Kathmandu. Also known as Bhadgaon, it has preserved the ambiance and charm of a medieval Newari city.
Explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an architectural masterpiece of harmony and beauty. Traditional craft skills are passed down from generation to generation, and Bhaktapur is especially famous for its woodwork and pottery.
Continue to Nagarkot, visiting Changu Narayan on the way.
Enjoy amazing views of the Himalayan mountains.
Return to Kathmandu.

Drive to Patan Durbar Square, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage monument since 1979. Located 5 km southeast of Kathmandu, Patan is also known as the city of fine arts. The city is full of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities, and wonderful carvings.
Visit Krishna Mandir, one of the grand monuments of the square, built in 1637 by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla.
Move to Thankot and take the cable car to Chandragiri Hill, seven kilometers from Thankot.

Return to Kathmandu.
