The journey
Climb Mount Kenya, Africa's second-highest mountain, on a 5-day trek from Nairobi via the Naromoru route. This adventure takes you from Narumoru town to the mountain gate, through the rain forest, up to Mackinder's Camp, and onward to Point Lenana at 17,058 ft. Along the way, experience the heritage, cultures, and beliefs associated with the communities living around this famous mountain. The tour includes accommodation, meals, mineral water, airport transfers, and one night of accommodation in Nairobi.

Day by day
Leave Nairobi for Narumoru town for lunch.
After lunch, drive to the hostels for the rest of the day and night acclimatising.
After breakfast, leave the youth hostel and drive to the main gate.
Start ascending the mountain through the rain forest for ten kilometres to the Met Station for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, continue ascending to Mackinder's Camp for dinner and overnight.
Wake up early in the morning, around 2:30 am, and attempt Lenana via Austrian Hut.
After Point Lenana (17,058 ft), descend to Mackinder's Camp for breakfast.
Continue descending to the Met Station for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, descend the last bit of the mountain from the Met Station via Naru Moro main gate for a short drive to Naru Moro town to catch transport to Nairobi.
End of tour.
