Brasov Old Town and Medieval Heritage Walk

We will walk and talk about the Black Church, the narrowest street in Eastern Europe, and the life of the medieval population of the city.

The First Romanian School Museum is housed on the grounds of St. Nicholas Church. For centuries, it was one of the leading learning centres of the Romanian people. The printing press that opened here in 1556 produced some of the first books written in the Romanian language. The museum hosts a compelling legacy: more than 4,000 rare books, many printed or copied by hand right here, several hundred rare documents, the oldest Bible printed on goat's skin, and much more.
The Brasov tour can be booked for 9 am, 2 pm, and 8 pm. It is the only tour that can be done at night. Others may refuse a late tour, but we'll do our best to help you. We understand that you may work during the daytime and only have time after 7 pm, and perhaps the next day you'll go home.
