• After breakfast, get picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive west to Masai Mara Game Reserve.

• Have lunch en route and arrive in time for an evening game drive.

• After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya, as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close-range viewing and photography.

• Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, while looking out for hippos and crocodiles.

• Go on an early morning game drive in the park with your guide, in this landscape of savannah grassland.

• Get dropped off at the camp for breakfast.

• Depart from Nairobi by shuttle to Arusha.

• Arrive at the Namanga Border for immigration procedures, then continue to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon.

• Check in to the hotel booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

• After breakfast, get picked up from the hotel and depart for Lake Manyara.

• Have lunch en route.

• Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive in a park famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos.

Drinking water

• After breakfast, descend 2000 ft (670 m) into the crater floor with your picnic lunches.

• Spend the full day in the park, with a lunch break at the Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 km and contains populations of varied species, including black-maned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and other grazing animals.

• After breakfast and your final game drive, leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge.

• Have lunch at the Gorge Museum, and after lunch visit various sites in the gorge to see where the remains of prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archaeologist Dr L.S.B Leakey.

• Proceed to Arusha for an overnight stay. (Dinner on your own.)
