This trekking tour brings you closer to the shy mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Beginning and ending in Kampala, the journey travels via the Equator, Mbarara, and Lake Mburo National Park, with views of the farms of Ankole where you may observe many birds, reptiles, and primates. It also includes time to meet local communities around the park, adding a cultural dimension to this memorable wildlife experience.
Perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences you will ever go through, this trek takes 5-6 hours and is well worth the effort.

Day by day
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport at any time of the day, you will be received by your guide and transferred to the lodge for the night.
Start with a morning drive at 8:00 am to Bwindi via Mbarara. A stopover at the Equator crossing will be made for snacks, refreshments, and photography.
Lunch en route will be had at Agip Motel, Mbarara. We then proceed to Bwindi.
The afternoon will be spent walking among the local communities around the park and interacting with them.
Start the day with coffee and breakfast, then head for a briefing by the UWA officials. The trek commences at 8 AM.
The ranger guide will lead you into the jungle to see the shy primates. Always take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla. Perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences you will ever go through, this trek takes 5-6 hours and is well worth the effort.
After an early morning cup of coffee and breakfast, drive from Kampala to Entebbe through Lake Mburo National Park, having lunch at the Igongwa Cultural Center. You will reach your lodging in Entebbe by the evening.
