The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Your Lodge

  • Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport at any time of the day, you will be received by your guide and transferred to the lodge for the night.

Day 02

Drive from Kampala to Bwindi via Mbarara

  • Start with a morning drive at 8:00 am to Bwindi via Mbarara. A stopover at the Equator crossing will be made for snacks, refreshments, and photography.

  • Lunch en route will be had at Agip Motel, Mbarara. We then proceed to Bwindi.

  • The afternoon will be spent walking among the local communities around the park and interacting with them.

Day 03

Gorilla Tracking Experience in Bwindi

  • Start the day with coffee and breakfast, then head for a briefing by the UWA officials. The trek commences at 8 AM.

  • The ranger guide will lead you into the jungle to see the shy primates. Always take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla. Perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences you will ever go through, this trek takes 5-6 hours and is well worth the effort.

Day 04

Return from Bwindi to Entebbe via Lake Mburo

  • After an early morning cup of coffee and breakfast, drive from Kampala to Entebbe through Lake Mburo National Park, having lunch at the Igongwa Cultural Center. You will reach your lodging in Entebbe by the evening.
