The itinerary

Day 01

Dar es Salaam to Mikumi and Afternoon Game Drive

Depart at 7:00 am from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi via Morogoro and Chalinze, with a picnic lunch on the way to Mikumi National Park.
Continue with an afternoon game drive, where you may come across lions, elands, hartebeest, buffalos, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, elephants, wild dogs, and many species of birds.
Drive to Mikumi Veta Lodge. Meal plan: full board.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park.
Due to its savanna plain, animals in Mikumi are easily accessed.
Drive back for dinner at Mikumi Veta Lodge. Meal plan: full board.

Day 03

Mikumi to Udzungwa with Rainforest Walk

After breakfast, go for a game drive while proceeding to Udzungwa for lunch, followed by an afternoon walk through the tropical rain forest.
Dinner at Udzungwa Fall Lodge. Meal plan: full board.

Day 04

Sanje Waterfalls Trek and Return to Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast, start trekking along the spectacular trails up to Sanje Waterfalls, one of the unique features of Udzungwa.
Here, you will get a good view of Kilombero Valley, which is ideal for agriculture.
Walk back to the lodge for a hot lunch, then start driving to Dar es Salaam.
