Day 03

  • The walk is enjoyable through the riverbed, and we reach the Hillary Suspension Bridge. After crossing the suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. Finally, we climb uphill towards Namche Bazaar, where magnificent and closer views of Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache and many other fabulous mountains can be seen. Namche Bazaar is probably the biggest town for visitors to purchase traditional crafts and other souvenirs.
  • We will spend two days in Namche for acclimatization and to visit local markets and learn about the traditions of the people living in the Himalayas.

Overnight at Namche, inclusive of full board meals.
