Day by day
On arrival, your guide will welcome you and escort you to Sigiriya via the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Dambulla or Sigiriya.
After breakfast, visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This 5th-century World Heritage Site was built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD).
Then, head to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.
In the evening, go on a Habarana Eco Safari or visit Minneriya National Park.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya or Dambulla.
After breakfast, visit the Cave Temple, a World Heritage Site built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C.
Explore the spice garden in Matale to see the different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous. Here, you can also see other herbs and learn how some of these spices are grown, followed by a cookery demonstration.
Transfer from Matale to Kandy.
Drive around Kandy Lake, built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, in 1798.
Stroll through Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum, and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
Afterwards, witness a cultural show.
Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.
After breakfast, transfer to Peradeniya. The Peradeniya Botanical Garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was later expanded by the British. It extends over 147 acres and offers a fantastic variety of trees, plants, and flowers.
Then, continue to Nuwara Eliya to visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where some of the best tea in the world is produced.
After the tea plantation visit, drive on to Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast, proceed to Nanu Oya Station and board the train to Ella.
The rest of the day will be free at leisure to walk around the city of Ella on foot.

After breakfast, leave for an Udawalawe Safari.
Then, proceed to Tissamaharama.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Tissamaharama.
After breakfast, leave for a Yala Safari.
Then, proceed to Galle for a city tour.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Galle, Bentota, or Hikkaduwa.
After breakfast, leave to see the Moonstone mines.
Then proceed to the Madu River for a boat safari and continue to Colombo or Negombo.
Overnight stay at a hotel.
Depart for BIA (International Airport) to board your return flight.
