3-Day Xishuangbanna Rainforest Hike from Menghai with Aini Villages

Start at 8:30 am by car and travel for about 40 minutes to Menghai, where we will visit the morning market and see ethnic groups such as the Dai, Bulang, Aini, and Lahu.

Then drive to Mengzhe, where we will have lunch.

On the way, we will visit the Octagonal Pavilion.

Then we begin trekking and spend about half an hour looking around a Dai village.

Today's journey is an easy walk. We first visit an Aini village through the jungle, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Along the way, see many tea and sugarcane plantations. Today includes about 4 and a half hours of trekking.

After breakfast, we start trekking through luxuriant jungles and three Aini villages.

Today's journey takes us through the jungle. After the first 10 minutes, we ascend to the top of a mountain at 1700 meters. This involves one and a half hours of trekking.

Here, we will have lunch.

Continue walking through the lush green jungles to today's destination - another Aini village for dinner and a 1-night stay.

There will be many tea and sugarcane plantations on the way. Today includes about 5 hours of trekking.

After breakfast, we trek through luxuriant jungles and tropical rainforest areas.

Then descend through the lush jungles, visiting a primitive Bulang village as well as tea and sugarcane plantations. It takes about 2 and a half hours to reach our car.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant in Menghun, then return by car to Jinghong. Today includes about 3 hours of trekking.
