Day by day
Drive from Gondar to Debark.
Obtain a permit from the park headquarters and collect your obligatory scout before continuing to Sankaber for the first overnight camp.
Begin the trek at Buytras and walk to the Sankaber campsite in a few hours.
See Gelada baboons during the trek.
Begin your walk to Geech via the spectacular Jinbar Waterfall.
Descend to the Jinbar Wenz, which feeds the waterfall.
Visit Geech village.
View the mountains and see giant lobelia plants from the campsite right behind the village.
Watch the sunset from the Kedadit summit.
Trek from Geech to the Imet Gogo promontory for one of the most spectacular views in the whole mountain range.
See the magnificent Lammergeier vultures.
Return to the road near a village called Ambaras and meet the car for the drive back to Gondar.
