3-Day Tanzania Wildlife Safari with Tarangire and Ngorongoro

• Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, which lies on the traditional migration route of several wildlife species.

• Spot herds of migratory wildebeest, gazelle, zebra, and buffalo gathering along the marshy shores of Lake Natron. These pools are also shared by flocks of birds, including green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, tallish herons, white-bellied go-away birds, and giant kingfishers. Resident lion, giraffe, elephant, and black rhino can be seen in any season.

• After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

• Spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, gazelles, tree-climbing lions, and more.

• Upon entering the park, your driver will open the vehicle roof so you can begin your wildlife watching.

• In the late afternoon, arrive at Fanaka campsite for your overnight stay.

• After breakfast, drive into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken and unflooded caldera in the world, and it will fascinate you with its unbelievable wildlife diversity.

• Observe the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinoceros, and leopards.

• After an extensive wildlife tour and a picnic, leave the caldera in the afternoon.

• Drive back to Arusha.
