Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Drive from Kampala to Kibale Forest via Fort Portal

Have an early breakfast, after which our guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala and drive you to Kibale Forest.
Stop at Fort Portal for an early lunch before continuing to the forest.
In the evening, explore Bigodi Swamp, where you can enjoy a memorable nature walk that brings you closer to more than 200 species of birds and 10 species of primates.

Overnight at the Chimpanzee Guest House.

Day 02

Chimpanzee Tracking and Community Tour

After breakfast, drive to the Kanyanju starting point for a briefing and allocation of guides and the chimpanzee group.
If you have opted for a chimpanzee habituation experience, you will receive a packed lunch and bottled water from the lodge. The park is also known for its variety of butterflies and birds.
After the activity, spend the evening on a community tour.

Day 03

Return from Kibale Forest to Kampala

After breakfast, drive back to Kampala, making stopovers to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Continue to your residence in Kampala or, if you are continuing your journey, to your next destination or the airport.
