North Lombok Market, Monkey Forest and Waterfalls
Early in the morning, drive to the north of Lombok with a stop at the traditional market of Lendang Bajur in the Gunungsari region.
Continue to the Monkey Forest in Pusuk Pas.
At the monkey forest, feed the monkeys with peanuts bought from the traditional market. This is also a nice place for taking pictures.
Drive farther north, passing through Tanjung, the capital city of North Lombok.
After around 1.5 hours of driving, arrive in the Senaru region to visit the Sendang Gile waterfall.
Walk down 300 steps into the valley to reach the waterfall. You may take a shower under the fresh water from the waterfall, just as the locals do.
Continue to the second waterfall, Tiu Kelep, which takes only 30 more minutes of walking through the rainforest.
In the afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Senggigi.
