Mandalay, Mingun & Gold Leaf Workshop

  • Pick up from your desired location and travel to Mingun Village.

  • Arrive at the village and visit the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, a 200-year-old stupa whose construction is still incomplete.

  • Continue to the Sayadaw Statue of the first monk, who translated all the Tripitaka texts into Buddhism.

  • Discover the Mingun Bell, the second largest bell in the world.

  • Visit Myatheindan Pagoda, the most beautiful pagoda around Mandalay, constructed in 1816 by King Bagyidaw.

  • Enjoy a boat ride to Shweinpin Wooden Monastery, the only remaining wooden monastery in Mandalay, built in 1895.

  • Have lunch at a local restaurant.

  • Attend a gold leaf making workshop.

  • Move to Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacred pagodas in Myanmar.
