Debre Libanos Monastery and Portuguese Bridge Excursion

Pick up from your hotel by your Ethiopian tour guide and drive along the Addis Ababa-Bahir Dar Road towards Debre Libanos Monastery.
Visit the church and the museum at the monastery, and see the liturgical items that have been used since the monastery was founded in the 13th century.
Drive to the Portuguese Bridge, located a few hundred meters beyond the backyard of the Ethio-German Restaurant, over the Jemma River, one of the major tributaries of the Blue Nile River.
Walk down to the bridge and see a troop of Gelada baboons, an endemic species of Ethiopia.
Have lunch at a restaurant.
