Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Drive from Rishikesh to Sari via Devprayag

Meet your tour guide in Rishikesh and transfer to Sari.
On the way from Rishikesh to Sari, visit Devprayag en route.
Drive to the trek destination, which will take around seven to eight hours, including comfortably timed breaks for breakfast and lunch.
Overnight stay at Sari Guest House/Camp.

Day 02

Trek to Deoria Tal and explore the campsite

After breakfast, begin the amazing trek to Deoria Tal, which is around 3 km long.
Enjoy a short sightseeing tour around the campsite.
As you begin the trek, you can see the reflection of the amazing surroundings in the crystal-clear lake. It is therefore often called 'two worlds in one place'.
Witness the holy rivers Ganga and Alaknanda.

Day 03

Trek from Chopta to Tungnath and Chandrashila Top

Have breakfast and proceed towards Tungnath.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery at Chopta and spend a cozy time in the luscious laps of the mountain landscapes. Tungnath offers spirituality and peace, and this hike leads you to the holy Tungnath Temple.
Explore one of the most breathtaking vistas of Kedar, Chaukhamba, and other nearby peaks. In this area, you may also spot a few rare species of eagles.
Witness the amazing forests around the temple and also the peak of Bandarpoonch. On both sides of Chopta, you can see green slopes and feel the cool breeze.
Further along, enjoy a tea break while trekking and rest on the bulky stone-shaped dining tables between the paths while returning to Chopta.
Back at Chopta Basecamp, relax completely as the trekking comes to an end.

Day 04

Drive from Chopta back to Rishikesh

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh.
Reach Rishikesh by evening and leave for your onward journey.
