Day 01

Sunrise at Kunjapuri Temple and Downhill Trek

• You will be picked up from Rishikesh around 5 am and driven to Kunjapuri Temple. The journey takes about an hour.

• Once you reach the temple, climb 300 steps to the top. Wait here for sunrise and watch the sun light up the Himalayas in a beautiful glow, eventually shining over the town of Rishikesh and the Ganga River.

• After sunrise, begin your downhill trek. The total trek is about 5 miles, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Along the way, you will pass mountains, villages, farms, and the Neer Gaddu waterfall, where you can bathe if you wish.

• At the end of the trek, you will be dropped back in Rishikesh.
