2-Day Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara Wildlife Safari from Arusha

• Get picked up in the morning from your hotel and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. This park offers areas of dense woodland where long-tailed blue monkeys live, along with baboons, antelopes, gazelles, and approximately 500 elephants. Lake Manyara National Park is also known for its lions that like to lounge in trees - a behavior that is not common among large cats and makes for quite a sight.

• Have a mid-day picnic in the park, after which the tour continues with more chances to observe these fantastic animals.

• Later in the day, leave the national park and proceed to the cooler crater uplands, where you will overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House.

Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

• After breakfast, the safari continues with a trip to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's famed site. This is the world's largest unflooded caldera - a feature formed by the collapse of land following a volcanic eruption. It is home to an estimated 25,000 mammals.

• Spot elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, an array of antelopes, gazelles, hippopotami, warthogs, and hyenas. There is also a very good chance that you will see leopards, lions, and the black rhino. The black rhino is unfortunately threatened with extinction.

• After lunch, there will be more time for wildlife spotting before it is time to leave the Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha.
