The journey
Enjoy a tour through the western part of Madagascar, showcasing some of the country's world-famous highlights, including striking landscapes, endemic fauna and flora, history, and culture. Admire the magnificent baobab trees and explore remarkable natural sites from the coast to the park. This breathtaking environment is a dream for nature lovers.
Spend 4 hours hiking there to see 30-metre-high cracks, beautiful forest, canyons, lemurs including red-fronted lemurs and Decken's sifaka, as well as birds, chameleons, butterflies, mongoose, medicinal and endemic plants, caves, the cathedral of rocks, and the view from the highest roof of the Big Tsingy.

Transfer to your hotel in the centre of Antananarivo city.
Overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, leave the capital of Madagascar and take National Road 7, which leads to Antsirabe, where you will stop for lunch.
Before reaching the city, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Malagasy highlands, with their green rice fields.
After lunch, continue on National Road 34, discovering the middle west and west coast of Madagascar, with a variety of landscapes to admire along the drive.
In the afternoon, National Road 35 welcomes you in Malaimbandy and leads you toward the Morondava area.
At the beginning of the evening, arrive in Morondava, settle into the hotel, relax, and have dinner.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, begin the real discovery of western Madagascar by taking the baobab trail through dry forest and savanna.
Stop at the Avenue of the Baobabs for your first close encounter, observation, and photographs.
Make another stop at the Sacred Baobab before arriving at Kirindy Forest.
Once in Kirindy, leave your bags at the lodge and head straight into the beautiful Menabe forest to see endemic fauna such as lemurs, including red-fronted lemurs and Verreaux sifaka, as well as birds, chameleons, mongoose, butterflies, reptiles, amphibians, and endemic and medicinal plants.
Return to the lodge restaurant for lunch and relax in the nature lodge.
At the end of the afternoon, enter the forest for a nocturnal visit, offering the chance to see nocturnal animals such as mouse lemurs, jumping rats, chameleons, and possibly the fosa, which is usually seen from October to December during the mating season.
After the visit, return to the lodge restaurant for dinner.

Early after breakfast, continue along the baobab trail and through the dry forest of the west coast.
Along the track, see examples of traditional Malagasy tombs of the Antandroy people before reaching the village of Belo/Tsiribihina, the cradle of the Sakalava Menabe Kingdom.
Cross the Tsiribihina River by ferry boat for up to 45 minutes, then have lunch in the village at a restaurant.
After lunch, continue north on the track to Bekopaka.
Cross another river, the Manambolo, by ferry boat before arriving directly in the village of Bekopaka.
Relax at the hotel and have dinner.
Overnight.
Visit the Big Tsingy in the morning.
After breakfast, drive 15 km to the Big Tsingy, a journey of about 1 hour.
Spend 4 hours hiking there to see 30-metre-high cracks, beautiful forest, canyons, lemurs including red-fronted lemurs and Decken's sifaka, as well as birds, chameleons, butterflies, mongoose, medicinal and endemic plants, caves, the cathedral of rocks, and the view from the highest roof of the Big Tsingy.
Return to the hotel for lunch and relaxation before continuing to the Small Tsingy in the afternoon.
In the afternoon, visit the Small Tsingy of Andadoany near the village for 2 hours, where you will see the limestone labyrinth, two viewpoints on the limestone pinnacle formations, Decken's sifaka, red-fronted lemurs, spiders, birds, chameleons, and plants such as Madagascar pachypodium.
Return to the hotel, relax, and have dinner.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, leave Bekopaka and head toward Morondava. Along the way, visit the Baobabs in Love, a beautiful landscape with an artificial lake bordered by baobabs, where birds and sometimes zebus can also be seen.
Later, enjoy sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs. As this is your last time at the avenue, take the opportunity to fully appreciate its beauty, natural colours, and light, and you may also meet local children.
After sunset, drive slowly to Morondava city.
Settle into the hotel and enjoy some relaxing and fun time with music on the beach of the Mozambique Channel.
After dinner, stay overnight.
