Step back in time to the days of ancient Egypt on this tour to the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis. The itinerary

Day 01

Giza Plateau, Saqqara, and Ancient Memphis

Start your tour from Cairo and head towards the Giza Plateau, where your qualified Egyptologist guide will provide a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids: Cheops, Khafre, and Menakaure.
Enjoy free time to enter one of the pyramids at an additional cost, although your guide is not permitted to enter with you. You may also take a camel ride at an additional cost.
Continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.
Take a short drive to the city side of the plateau to stand at the feet of the Sphinx, an emblematic symbol of Egypt for thousands of years.
Visit the Solar Boat Museum, if you wish, home to the remarkably well-preserved funerary boat of Khufu in Giza.
Head to Sakkara, home to Egypt's oldest pyramid, built in 2650 B.C. Your Egyptologist guide will provide a brief history of the famous Step Pyramid, and you will have some free time to walk around.
Proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt.
See artifacts from many of the great rulers of Egypt, including the fallen statue of Ramses II.
You will also have the chance to visit a Papyrus Institute to see how famous artworks are made.
