Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum and Buddhist Practices

• Experience the cultivation practices, including meditation, chanting, and Buddhist talks, led by monastics every day.

Know before you go

• Food and beverages: a Starbucks coffee shop, a vegetarian restaurant, and several booths selling local snacks are available in the Buddha Memorial Center.
• Transportation cost (by bus or by taxi is decided by tourists):

  • Round-trip bus tickets from HSR station (Zuoying) to the destination cost US$ 5. Buses are available every 30-60 minutes, and the journey takes around 40 minutes.

  • The distance by taxi from HSR station (Zuoying) to the destination is about 30 km.

• For safety reasons, please refrain from touching the glass, climbing the railings, or mounting the exhibits.

• Please turn off camera flash when taking pictures. Video recording is strictly prohibited.

• Either Tea Chan or Sutra Transcription lasts around 50 minutes, and a minimum of 3 visitors is required to attend such a program.

• The Buddha Chanting Ceremony lasts around 30 minutes.
