Day 01

Pastoruri Glacier Hike and Andean Landscapes

Pick up from your hotel in Huaraz at 8 am.

Visit Recuay province and continue to Ticampampa and Catac. Enjoy scenic views of the wonderful landscapes, highlands full of straw, and cold wind along the way.

Stop next to a small lake called Patococha for a birdwatching tour. Spot some wild ducks, Andean geese, and Caracara birds.

Discover the Gasifiedwater stream, a drinkable water stream flowing from underground. Proceed to Puya Raymondi, a changing-colour small lake.

Arrive at the Pastoruri parking area and ascend the Ice Mountain, either by hiking or on a horseback ride. Visit the Iced Lake and Ice cave.

Return to your hotel in Huaraz.
