The itinerary

Day 01

Lake 69 and Llanganuco Lakes Hike

Pick up from the hotel at 8 am and depart in the direction of the Llanganuco Lakes, located between the mountains of Huascaran and Huandoy.
Pass through the villages of Monterrey, Paltay, Tarica, Jangas, and Yungar Anta on the way.
Witness the scenic beauty of the snow-capped mountains of Huandoy, Huascaran, Hualcan, Copa, and others.
Continue travelling through Marcara and Carhuaz.
Arrive at New Yungay and start ascending the dusty road up to the Llanganuco Lakes.
Hike to the base of the Huascaran and Huandoy mountains.
Continue travelling through the Cebollapampa trailhead for Pisco Mountain.
Arrive at Lake 69 and spend some time here.
Trek along the valley, visiting Orconcocha Lake first.
Enjoy a bird-watching tour around the lake.
Continue to Chinancocha Lake and enjoy sailing on the lake in small boats.
Walk along the beautiful Maria Josefa trail, full of vegetation.
