Discover one of the Alps’ most historic viewpoints on this half-day journey from the Salzburg area to the Eagle’s Nest. Travel through the Bavarian alpine landscape to Obersalzberg, then continue up the mountain on the special bus route known for its dramatic ascent and remarkable engineering.
At the top, explore the historic building and take in sweeping views across the Bavarian and Austrian Alps. You’ll also have free time to walk around the area, enjoy the mountain scenery, and visit Berchtesgaden before returning. If the Eagle’s Nest is closed, the tour includes a visit to the Obersalzberg Documentation Center and bunkers instead.
