At a glance
Day by day
Arrive in Tirana and set out on an afternoon tour to explore the city. Visit must-see attractions such as the National Historical Museum, E'them Beu Mosque, and Martyrs' Boulevard.
Accommodation at a hotel in Tirana.
Early in the morning, depart for the Koman Lake ferry, a spectacular boat trip through the artificial lake created by the hydropower stations built on the Drin River. The depth of the lake gives it an opal green colour, while the surrounding mountains create the magnificent effect of a fjord.
After the ferry, transfer by minibus to Valbona Valley.
Stay overnight at a guesthouse.
The day is spent skiing in the Valbonë Valley, situated in the valley of the river Valbonë, south of the mountain Maja e Thatë. Spend the next 3 days enjoying the adventures of skiing.
Leave the valley for Kosovo.
After a lunch break, visit Prizren, one of the most attractive towns in Kosovo.
After the visit to Prizren, re-enter Albania and reach Tirana.

Albanian Alps and the Accursed Mountains are a mountain range on the western Balkan Peninsula, extending from northern Albania to Kosovo and eastern Montenegro. After the Alps, these mountains are the most glaciated in Europe south of the Scandinavian ice sheet. The Accursed Mountains are a large, rugged, pathless, and hardly passable range. They are one of the rare mountain ranges in Europe that have not been explored entirely.
